CubFest Activities

Workshops and Seminars

Seminars and workshops are still being finalized, but may include:

  • Rebuilding a carburetor

  • Evaluating a cub before purchase

  • How to troubleshoot problems and make repairs - If you have a cub with a problem, bring it along and we'll help you evaluate it and suggest repairs.

The All-Cub Tractor Pull

  • Join us Saturday afternoon for the first ever (as far as we know) all-Cub tractor pull, thanks to the Southeastern Ohio Garden Tractor Pullers. Competition is for bragging rights only and no purse is offered. But, if you've always wanted to know how your Cub would do with a competition pulling sled attached, here's your chance!

Tractor Games

  • Circle Race - Make three revolutions around a tethered string attached to your tractor without letting the string touch the ground or come detached.

  • Egg race - Start at a predetermined point and back up to touch an egg with the drawbar, then pull forward again, without breaking the egg.

  • Chain race. We can mark off a rectangle on the grass and hook a chain to the drawbar. The object is to get the entire length of the chain in the box by driving forward and reverse.

  • Other games include the slow race and a barrell race.

Swap Meet

  • Got extra Cub parts? Invented an accessory no Cub owner should be without? Been looking for just the right part or accessory for your Cub? Our swap meet area will connect folks looking for stuff with the folks who have it.

Meals/Food

  • Friday evening will feature a carry-in cookout. Got a "specialty" dish you think we all should try? Bring it out and put it to the test.

  • Saturday morning will kick off with a classic campout breakfast. Our special guest, Chef Lildog, with a goodly amount of help from a random cast of motley assistants, will fix his signature omelettes and eggs to-order to go with all your breakfast favorites. If the food ain't good, the entertainment will more than make up for it.

  • Saturday afternoon, the local 4-H club will be on hand for sandwiches and other lunch-type items.

  • Saturday evening we will have a specially catered chicken noodle dinner, provided by a neighborhood church. Click here for details and to make your reservations.

  • Other meals are on your own. There's a small restaurant in town and more eateries in nearby Circleville, Amanda, Lancaster and Chillicothe. Click here for a list from Google Maps.
